Casco – Donald Kendall McKay, 42, passed away suddenly from cardiac complications on Saturday, September 26, 2026. He was born on August 17, 1984, in New Haven, CT., to parents Denise Bowes McKay and Donald Bryant McKay.

Donny graduated from Windham High School in 2003. He earned his Electronic Technology and Electrical Technology associate degrees from Southern Maine Community College in May 2007. He worked as an Electrician’s Helper with Field Electric in Otisfield for several years. He was working for McIver Electric Company as an Electrician’s Helper for the last 5 years and studying for his Journeyman Electrician’s License.

He was very active in Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with Troop 800 in Raymond. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2003. He worked at the Boy Scout Camp Hinds in Raymond for 2 summers as a Camp Counselor and Rifle Range Instructor. He was an avid bow and gun hunter, enjoyed working on the family tree farm and raised chickens and rabbits. He also enjoyed building Lego kits and model railroading, but he really loved his dog, Riley!

He is survived by Father Donald Bryant McKay; stepmother Sang Ok McKay, stepbrother David and stepsister Mia; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 24, at 11 a.m., at the Windham Baptist Church, 973 River Road, Windham, ME, office@wbcministries.com. There will be a reception following the service. Guests are invited to bring a dish to share if they wish.
