Donald Henry Doucette Donald Henry Doucette, 85, of Westbrook passed away July 24th of heart complications at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born June 16th 1927 at Melrose Hospital in Massachusetts to John Eli Doucette and Anna Axelina Malmrose Doucette. He was the last of five children. His first wife was Priscilla Perrin, no children. He married Janice A. Pinkham and had four children, Maurita K., Dawn-Marie Meggison, D. Matthew Doucette, and Jon Aaron Doucette. He married Linda Graffam and had Eli Joshua Doucette. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Maurita. His daughter Dawn married Danny Meggison and they had one child, Michael. His son Matthew has eight children, Matthew J., Marcus J., Marshall J., Malcolm J., Morrison J., Martin J., Magnus J., and Magenta J. His son Jon has three children, Elizabeth, Justine G., and Jon Aaron Jr. He has four great-grandchildren, Makenzie J., Madison J., Mai Joy, and Maurice J. In 1942, he joined the Naval reserves during WWII and served on the S.S. Princeton. He was honorably discharged in 1947. He worked at the Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, Saco Lowell in Saco, and then at S.D. Warren Paper Mill in Westbrook for 38 years. He retired in 1990. Over the years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, and boating. There will be a service for him at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, ME. On Tuesday, July 31st, at 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a graveside service to follow.
