Dillon Eric Bean passed away on March 28th, 2025, surrounded by his family at Maine Medical Center. He was born on January 7th, 2008, in Portland, Maine, and lived in Westbrook, where he attended Westbrook High School as a sophomore. Dillon was a gentle, generous soul with a big heart who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. He was lovable, funny and lit up any room he walked into. He loved school and video games and enjoyed making the people in his life happy. He loved spending time with his BHPs and his friends. Dillon always thought of everyone as family and enjoyed giving and helping those around him. Dillon was a friend to everyone he met in his young life, and his laughter, kindness, and love will be missed dearly. He is predeceased by his grandfather Leon F Bean, Jr (2016). He is survived by his Mother, Deanna Vachon, his, Father Brian Vachon Sr. His sisters, Tamika Vachon, Tanisha Vachon, Shaylee Bean, and Olivia McCafferty. His brothers Brian Vachon Jr., Darion Bean and Devon McCafferty. His brothers-in-law Brian L'Heureux and Jarrett Woodward. And his sister -in -law, Dee Delisle. His grandmother's Sylvia Merry and Linda McCafferty. His grandfather, Greg Merry. His uncles, Ronnie Bean, Dave Vachon, Casey Vachon, and Shaun Bean. His aunts, Vanessa Bean, Katie McCafferty, and Kelly McCafferty. His cousins, Maddison, Brianna, Kylie, Evan, Colton and Tyson. His nieces, Emma, Elizabeth, Demi, and Alanna, and his nephews, Ethan and Hudson. Other surviving family members include Shannon McCafferty, Lisa McCafferty, and Sandra Vachon. Dillon came into this world as a fighter and left the world a hero. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday April 8, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday April 9, at 11AM.
