WINDHAM - After three years of dancing with metastatic breast cancer, Diane Edes Menario has left the Dance Floor of Life, June 4, 2021, in the comfort of home. Diane was the daughter of Corinne Edwards and Robert D. Edes; sister to Paul Edes, Joyce Fountaine and Carmen Loan. She enjoyed her youth and schooling in Casco, Maine. She attended business school and Westbrook College School of Nursing. Early on, she worked at the Portland Newspapers and was a professional nurse for 20 years. She worked at Salvation Army Stores several years before retiring. Diane is survived by husband, Joseph M.; and creative and adventurous sons, Luke and Jason. A high point for Diane was a family trip to Italy. She enjoyed an active membership at North Windham Union Church, UCC for most of her adult life. She was the beneficiary and group leader of Recovery, Int. for mental health and traveled several times to Recovery headquarters celebrations in Chicago, IL. In her memory, she asked that friends attend the worship service of their choice and pray for those who will mourn her passing. Thank you to any with whom I have been honored to share this life.
