Westbrook- Dennis A. Bradbury, 53, of Westbrook, passed away in Kittery on Monday, October 22, 2018. The son of James and Janet (Chayer) Bradbury, he was born in Portland on December 24, 1964. He was raised in Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School, class of 1982. After high school he attended Norwich University, earning a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for almost 30 years where he previously held the title of Chief of the Electrical Engineering Department. Dennis was a New England sports fan rooting for all the major teams. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed going to NasCar races. He was predeceased by his father James Bradbury and his sister Christine Clayton. He is survived by his mother Janet Bradbury of St. Petersburgh Fl., his daughters Vanessa Bradbury of Gorham, and Mandy Caruso, and her husband Ryan of Westbrook, his companion Catherine Bradbury of Westbrook, his granddaughters Sophie and Lyla Caruso, his brother Kevin Bradbury of St. Petersburgh FL., and his brother- in- law Ken Clayton of Scarborough. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2-4 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church St. There will be a time for sharing, where people will be invited to share their memories and stories about Dennis as part of the memorial service. The service will be followed by a gathering at the Stockhouse Restaurant, 506 Main St. Westbrook. A cash bar will be available.
