Deborah Elizabeth Mason, 71, passed away May 23rd, 2024 in Portland, Maine at Mercy hospital following a brief, yet courageous battle with Leukemia. Deborah was born September 9th, 1952, in Portland, Maine, to Donald and Mary (Whitney) Knowles. Deborah had a love of the outdoors and embraced the serenity of nature and all its offerings, especially spending time at her camp at Little Duck Pond where she enjoyed kayaking. She was exquisitely talented in crafting, from hand made gifts to extravagant quilts, there wasn't anything she could do. Deborah's greatest loves include her son, being a nana and her late husband, Tim, whom she loved and missed beyond words. Deborah is predeceased by her father, Donald R. C. Knowles; Brother, Donald Knowles; and late husband, Tim Mason. Deborah is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Knowles of Falmouth; brother, David Knowles, of Gardiner; beloved son, Lester Moulton, Jr.; and grandchildren, Nicholas, and Sierra Moulton. A private interment will be held at Blanchard Cemetery in Falmouth, ME on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at 3:00pm.
