GORHAM - Deborah Ann "Deb" (Firmin) Charlton, 56, died unexpectedly on October 27, 2021 at her home in Gorham. She was born in Virginia on November 10, 1964 to Jerimiah Firmin and Karen Ann (Davis) Hayes. Deb graduated from Governor Baxter School for the Deaf in 1983. She met Robert Charlton at work. They both married in June of 1993. She worked as an interpreter for the deaf for a period of time. Deb was very active in the deaf community. Helping out at the Maine Deaf Timberfests and many of the other community events that were held. She worked at Ascentria Care Alliance as a caregiver. She was loved and will be missed by many. Deb was predeceased by her father, Jerimiah Firmin. Surviving her, in addition to her husband, is her daughter, Lindsey Keith and her husband; her mother, Karen Hayes; brother, Kirk Firmin, his wife, Brandy; and nephew, Nick. A celebration of life will be held 3-5p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Gorham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 76 State Street Gorham, ME 04038.
