BUXTON - Dawn Marie Meggison, 73, of Buxton passed away July 10, 2025 of kidney failure at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born May 2, 1952, in Portland, to Donald H. Doucette and Janice A. Doucette. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1970. After graduation, she worked at Zayre's department store for two years, then went to Unum as a transcriber. She married Danny W. Meggison in 1973, and had one son, Michael S. Meggison. Upon the birth of Michael, she became a full time homemaker.She enjoyed crochet, needlepoint, vinyl weave, and ceramics. She was pre-deceased by her sister Maurita K. Doucette. She is survived by Danny and Michael, and her brothers, D. Matthew Doucette, and Jon Aaron Doucette. There will be visiting hours for her at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Westbrook, ME. On Sunday, July 20th, 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
