PORTLAND- David Lee Wilson, 64, passed away February 5, 2019 at his residence in Portland. He was born October 22, 1954 to Ralph and Delores (Hanna) Wilson. David graduated from Portland High School and worked for 40 years as a paper maker at Sappi Paper Mill in Westbrook. He was a hardworking provider for his family and always put them first. David found great enjoyment just being outside; he loved to go fishing and spend time camping with his family. He felt great happiness that two of his children recently moved back to Maine and loved spending time with all three, together. In addition, watching his grandchildren grow brought him tremendous joy. Those closest to him will miss him dearly. David is predeceased by his mother, Delores (Hanna) Wilson. He is survived by his father, Ralph Wilson, of Gorham. He is also survived by his three children; Daughter Jessica Boone, and husband Marty, along with their children Faith, Shea, and Ashton; Daughter, Melissa Mattson and husband Adam, along with their children, John and Libby; and son, Christopher Wilson. He is also survived by his three brothers; Vaughn Wilson, James Wilson, and Donald Wilson. A visitation for David will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4-6 P.M at the Gorham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 76 State Street Gorham, ME with a reception at his daughter's house for family and friends afterwards.
