David Rondeau passed away on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, after a brief fight with Pancreatic Cancer with his wife Shaune and brother Ron by his side. He was born in Westbrook Maine on August 28th,1960, the son of Eugene and Lina (Gagnon) Rondeau. David attended St, Hyacinth school and graduated from Westbrook High School, class of 1978. At the time of his death, he was a Maintenance Technician at Tyson Foods. His passions included automobiles, and small engine repair. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, his dogs, boating, fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed football Sundays, watching his beloved Patriots with his sons. David had a zest for life, a great sense of humor, and lived each day to the fullest. David was grateful to have met his wife Shaune later in life, and his only regrets were that he wanted to spend more years with her, and watch his grandson grow up. He enjoyed spending his summers at Homestead by the River Family Campground sitting around the campfire with lots of laughs and making many memories with his friends. David was the type of guy that if you needed him, or had something to be fixed, he was there to help. David could look at the problem and immediately know what needed to be done and wouldn't stop until it was finished. David was passionate about donating to the St Jude Cancer Foundation, feeling that no child deserves to suffer with cancer. David is survived by his wife Shaune, daughter Nicole Rondeau and his sons Samuel, Adam (Kallie) and his stepson Evan Dorler. His brothers Stace (Cindy), Ron (Kim), Jim (Heather) and his grandson Crew, along with several nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks to his Tyson Food's family especially Deana and Mike. The family wishes to thank his special hospice nurses Amber and Ashley and Chaplain Ken for their loving care during his illness. Visiting hours will be Thursday September 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Westbrook.
