Windham- David Lawrence Miller of Windham passed away on November 20, 2022 after a short illness. He was 76. One of nine children born to George and Ruth (Wands) Miller. David grew up in the Woodfords neighborhood of Portland. He graduated from Deering High School in 1964 and serviced in the U.S. Navy before starting a 44 year career at the Portland Press Herald working in the distribution department. David married Cheryl (Brayson) Miller in 1973 and raised two children. David loved to travel and go on cruises. He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandson. David was predeceased by siblings, Sally West, Marcia Lovejoy, Dorothy Bodwell, Robert Miller, Judith Francis, and Virginia Mushrow. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; sons Andrew and Daniel Miller; grandson, Luke Miller; siblings, William and Sara Miller, Joan Jensen; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for family and friends; 2:00PM, Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 04062.
