Gray- David A. Herrick, 57, of Gray, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, with his fiancée Cathy by his side in Scarborough. The son of Robert and Constance (Theriault) Herrick, he was born in Portland, on March 29, 1960. He was raised in Westbrook and started working for S.D. Warren. In 2001 he started working for Gorham Public Works, where he worked for 16 years. David started racing at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in 1978, and raced there until 2003. David was predeceased by his father, his brother Mark Paradis, and his sister Denice Mauris. He is survived by his fiancée of 11 years Cathy LaBrecque, his mother Constance Herrick, his son Dale Herrick and his wife Skye, of Sanford, his daughter Jessica Hannon and her husband Jason, of Saco, his grandchildren, Claire, Bentley, Logan, Landen, Alyssa, and Madison, his brothers Ray Paradis of Sebago, his sister Claudette Charest, and her husband Phil, of Sebago, his brother in law Tom Mauris, of Standish, and his sister in law Cora Paradis, of Arizona.
