David George Glicos of Raymond, Maine passed away Wednesday February 15th at Maine Medical Center at the age of 52 from Cardiac Arrest. Dave was born in Portland, Maine to parents Urania and George. A graduate of Westbrook high school, Dave became a gifted auto and marine mechanic. He worked tirelessly running his business and excelled at his craft. Embodying the true spirit of being a Mainer, David lived in his Crescent Lake home, a source of so many memories for the numerous lives his spirit and generosity touched. In his time he thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of his native state. David lived his life to the hilt and loved the thrill of adventure. Whether it be on a boat, ATV, motorcycle, or snowmobile he lived in the fast lane, only slowing down long enough to help those he cared about. Dave was predeceased by his father George, and is survived by his mother Urania Glicos, brother Dean Glicos, sister Maria Taylor, ex-wife Kelly Weir, Godson Julian Nikamp, dear friend Sonya Stevens, along with countless others who are too numerous to name. Visitation will be held at Blais and Hay funeral home on Thursday February 23rd from 1-3, with services immediately following. A reception will be held at Profenno's after the service.
