David Barrett, 35, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Maine Medical Center on July 18th, 2023 after a motorcycle accident. David was born on March 22, 1988 to Michael and Debra Barrett. David had a love for life and making others happy, he enjoyed playing guitar and singing, he especially loved to visit Fry Island. David loved and was proud of his two boys Gaige and Jaxson. David is predeceased by his father Michael Barrett, his brother Shawn Laskey, grandmother Barbara Davis, grandparents, Arthur and Gloria Pitts and his Uncle Terry Barrett. He is survived by his sons; Gaige Barrett of Old Orchard Beach and Jaxson Barrett of Limington, his mom Debra Barrett, brother Paul Laskey, grandfather Russ Davis, Uncles and aunts; Scott and Vanessa Davis, Rick and Barabra Davis, Chris and Marie Davis, James Barrett, Pam Barrett, and Joe Barrett. David also leaves behind countless friends whom he loved dearly. He will be missed by many. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Dolby Blais and Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook, ME 04092. Internment at Brooklawn Memorial Park will be held at a later date.
