GORHAM - David "Dave" Nelson Austin, age 74, of Gorham, passed away in his home on March 24th, 2019. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965-1971. Dave was an avid pool player and whether he was shooting around at the local pool hall, or his basement, it was his favorite pastime. In addition, he loved travelling. From cruising in the Caribbean to trips to Pennsylvania to visit family, you could always find him with a smile on his face. Dave is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mercier, his wife, Deborah Austin and his daughter, Tammy Cleveland. Dave is survived by his son, Philip Austin and his grand daughter, Emily Long.
