Darryl P. Quinlan, 63, passed away April 3rd after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was a life-long resident of Westbrook and the son of the late Frances B. Quinlan. Darryl was a 1971 graduate of Westbrook High School and was a varsity athlete in multiple sports. He continued his love of sports throughout his life playing softball, coaching little league and was a well-known candlepin bowler. Darryl worked for over 40 years for Burnham and Morrill in Portland. He held many positions, starting on the line crew and working his way to a number of supervisory positions. He was the loving husband of Susan J. (Kramlich), the father of Michael and Kevin Kramlich, Diana S., Darryl T., and Joseph P. Quinlan; the brother of Terry and Roland Quinlan, all of Westbrook. He was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Darryl and he made it a priority to be involved in his children's numerous activities including sports, music and scouts. He also enjoyed fishing, card games, and relaxing at the lake.
