Obituary

Dana Earle Watts, 23 ,a lifelong resident of Westbrook, passed away May 31 as the result of a motorcycle accident Saturday while riding  with his friends in the Allagash region. He was born in Portland the son of Jeffrey and Denise (Therio) Watts.  He graduated from Westbrook High School in 2009.  After graduating from high school he attended SMCC studying computer science.  He has been driving a tractor trailer truck for Coca Cola for the past five years. Dana loved spending time at the family camp on Sebago Lake and snowmobiling and snowboarding at the family camp in Eustis.  Dana was an energetic, happy, fun loving, outgoing person and reliable and loyal to all who knew him .  His circle of friends were always surrounding him while doing the things he loved, especially working on his truck at his grandfather's garage with the crew, mudding, and anything to make his friends and family smile.  He was always the center of attention and the life of the party. Dana's life was filled with the things he loved most, including his truck – the only steady woman in his life.  Just like his Dad and grandfather he loved all things mechanical, anything he could take apart and put back together. Words are not enough to describe the loss of our son, grandson, brother, and best friend.  We will miss his goofy personality and all of his pranks.  It's never going to be the same without you in our lives.  You will never be forgotten and we will take a page from your book – live life to the fullest with no regrets. Dana was our superman, now watching over us. He is predeceased by his grandparents Georgia Therio, Jetta Watts- Smith, Edward Watts, and his sister Amanda Watts in 1994. He is survived by his parents Jeff and Denise of Westbrook; sister Rebecca Watts of Buxton; and his brother Austin Watts of Westbrook; and his grandfather Gene Therio of Portland. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at St. Hyacinth Church (St. Anthony's Parish), Brown St., Westbrook.  A funeral service will take place at the church at 10 AM Friday.  Interment will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.  A reception will follow at 27 Macdonald Lane, Buxton. On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.   In lieu of flowers donations may made for a CDL scholarship in his name to WRVC, 125 Stroudwater St., Westbrook, ME 04092.
