Corinne Meserve Parker was born July 5, 1928 in Windham, Maine. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in New Braunfels, Texas. The daughter of Earle L. and Helene (Libby) Meserve, she attended the one room Harding School in Standish, Maine, graduating from Standish High School in June of 1946. She was married to Harry C. Parker of Gorham, Maine on May 21, 1954 in Casper, Wyoming. She was a loving mother for her four boys, Bruce E. Parker (Bobbi), Richard D. Parker (Barbie), Keith J. Parker (Danei) and Kevin J. Parker (Lisa), who blessed her with 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was a passionate and accomplished quilter, knitter, and crocheter and she had a keen interest in family genealogy. Corinne worked for many years as a bank teller and served as a national officer of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs. She loved making quilts for her boys, her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews and no matter where she lived she always considered Maine her home. She is survived by six sisters, Abbie (George) Greenwood, Alice (Lonnie) Small, Ann (Lin) Nightly, Donna (Gene) Evenson, Rachel (Bob) Hartsock, Becky Foster (Dale Douglass), and six brothers, Earle (Shirley) Meserve Jr., Ronald (Alta) Meserve, Paul (Deanna) Meserve, Clyde (Jan) Meserve, and Richard (Vicki) Meserve. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Phillip Meserve. A graveside service will be held for both Harry and Corinne Parker at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 23rd at Hillside Cemetery in Gorham. Following the service, the family will host a reception at the Westbrook American Legion Hall, 17 Dunn Street, Westbrook, Maine. Arrangements are under the care of the Gorham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee.
