Claire LeBel passed away on December 10 at Stroudwater Lodge in Westbrook, Maine. Claire was born in Westbrook to Paul E. LeBel and Alice Barr. Claire graduated from St. Joseph's Academy and St. Joseph's College in Maine and the Mary Hitchcock School of Medical Technology in New Hampshire. Claire spent many years in Denver, Colorado working as a medical technologist. Some of her fondest memories included several trips to Barrow, Alaska. She returned to Maine in 1980. Claire was a very private person but outwardly friendly. She was a lover of all animals, especially her cats Kippy and Angel. She will be remembered for her wry sense of humor and quick wit. May she rest in peace. She was predeceased by her sister Pauline and her very good friend Yvonne Goulet. She is survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews, 11 grandnieces and grandnephews and one great grandnephew.
