Claire Turgeon Jollette, 87, daughter of Louis and Anna Berthiaume Turgeon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Casco Inn. She was born in Westbrook and attended Westbrook schools, graduating from Westbrook High School. She was employed by Pyrofax Gas Corporation, retiring in 1986 after 32 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in South Portland. She was predeceased by her husband Andre Jollette in 1989, a brother Robert Turgeon of CT, a sister Noella Shaw of South Portland. Claire is survived by a daughter Marguerite Doucette and her husband Robert of Casco; three grandchildren Rebecca (Doucette) Sladen and her husband Wayne of Gorham, Rose-Ann Doucette of South Portland, and Daniel Doucette of Poland; three great grandchildren, Abbie and Jacob Sladen of Gorham and Amber Roy of South Portland; several nieces and nephews. At Claire's request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Friday at St. Anthony's Church, Brown St., Westbrook.
