Christine V. Proctor, 89, of North Vassalboro, Maine, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved daughter of Bert and Florence Farris and spent her life devoted to her family, friends, and community.
Chris attended Portland schools and later worked at Fulham Brothers during the 1950s. She also spent many years employed at Cushman Bakery and Fairchild Semiconductor, where she was known for her hard work and dedication.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Proctor, in 1996; her mother, Florence Moseley, in 1994, her father Bert Farris in 1977; her daughter Sheila Marshall; her brothers, Bert Farris Jr., David Cameron and Denzel Grant; her sisters, Penny Saucier, granddaughter, Heidi Stevens, great granddaughter Annalyse Flaherty and son in law Steven Phillips.
Chris leaves behind her loving children: Scott Proctor and his wife Jean; Sidney Proctor Jr. and his wife Roberta; Mark Proctor and his wife Layna; Ellen Lebeda and Tammy Phillips; her sister, Pinky Crabtree and Faith Rowe; along with 12 cherished grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Chris will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
