Scarborough,             Christine Marie Clayton, 48, passed away peacefully after a long strong, courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis on August 23, 2016, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine surrounded by her loving family and friends.             Chris was born December 09, 1967 in Portland, ME, she was third and youngest child born to Jim & Janet Bradbury of Westbrook, ME.   Chris graduated from Westbrook High School in 1986.  Chris was a natural athlete she exceled in swimming, and running.  Chris was a state champion in swimming along with 3 consecutive state championships in cross country.              After high school Chris was employed by the United States Postal Service in 1998 for 28 years.              Chris is survived by her loving companion, best-friend and husband Ken; son Ryan, daughter Erin of Scarborough; mother Janet Bradbury, of FL, brothers Dennis and Catherine Bradbury of  ME; Kevin Bradbury of FL, father in law Curt Clayton, brothers and sisters in law, Scott & Claire Clayton, Ray Clayton and his companion Lynn Towne, Kileen & Dale Scott, and Janice & Mike Bednarz;  many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.                 Visiting hours will be Thursday, September 1, from 5 to 8 PM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook.  A Christian Mass will be Friday, September 2, at 10:30 AM, St. Anthony's Parish, 268 Brown St. Westbrook.  Online condolences can be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com                                     In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Chris name to                                     National MS Society                                     Greater New England Chapter                                     PO Box 845945                                     Boston, MA 02284-5945                                     Or donate online at www.nationalmssociety.org
