Christine M. Blair, 44, of Portland, ME died April 3, 2023, at the Beacon House in Westbrook, ME. Born in Newburyport, MA, on June 1, 1978, Christine was the younger of two daughters of the late Janice (nee Blair) Brown. Her father was the late Raymond Turgeon. Christine graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH. The focus of Christine's life was parenting her son Cody and her daughter Kylie. She raised them alone starting when Cody was 7 years old and Kylie was 5 years old. Christine worked hard to see that her children were cared for and their needs met, she had a strong bond with her children, and they relied on each other for mutual support. The results of Christine's efforts are reflected in Cody and Kylie. They are kind, caring, helpful, and trusting adults. Christine is survived by her two children, Cody Taylor and his partner, Madison Proctor, of Saco, ME and Kylie Taylor Portland, ME. She is also survived by her sister, Amanda, and her husband Craig Baird, of Springfield, MO; her grandchild Olivier Proctor of Saco, ME; and her uncles Dennis Blair and his wife, Linda, of South Hampton, NH and Russell Blair and his wife, Maureen, of Amesbury, MA. A memorial to celebrate and honor the life of Christine will be held on Saturday, July 8, 9:30 – 11:00 AM, at Fort Allen Park in Portland's East Promenade. There will be performances by Kenny Wayne & The Maine Ideal Marching Band. Feel free to bring flowers to release into the ocean after the event.
