STANDISH - Cheryl Tanguay, 51, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Standish August 28, 2016. Born in Portland, the daughter of Paul and Marilyn Tanguay, she was raised in Limington. She is predeceased by her parents and mother-in-law Louise Jenney. Cheryl is survived by her daughter Rebecca Arnold and her husband Joe of Harrison, and step son Fredd Wright of Gorham; two brothers, Charles Pelletier of Arizona and Paul Tanguay and his wife Tammy of Limington and two sisters, Paula Pelletier of Oxford and Annette Martin and her husband JR of Norway; three grandchildren, Joseph, Isaiah and Hannah Arnold as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cheryl loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her big heart and kind smile. Her grandchildren will always remember fun times at Meme's house and fresh pitchers of her iced tea. A celebration of life will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, September 3, 2016 along the river at 14 Line Drive, Hollis.
