It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Lee Hoyt, who left this world on March 25, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on May 10, 1961, in Troy, New York, Cheryl lived a vibrant life filled with music, love, and adventure.
A passionate musician, Cheryl shared her love for music with others, playing both the guitar and piano. Her joy for life was reflected in her dedication to teaching music, inspiring countless students with her creativity and enthusiasm. Cheryl had a deep appreciation for motor boating and sailing. She cherished the memories of concerts that resonated in her heart and shared these experiences with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roger W. Hoyt, and her mother, Sharon Lee Hutchinson Hoyt. Cheryl is survived by her brothers, David and Jeffrey Hoyt; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Joseph, Nicholas, Amanda, Samantha, Zachary, and Andrea.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Dolby, Blais, & Segee Windham Chapel, located at 434 River Rd, Windham, Maine. Family, friends, and all who knew Cheryl are invited to join us in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to so many.
Cheryl will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared with everyone she met. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her music and memories will live on in all of us.
