NAPLES- Cecilia (Cecy) A. Coney, 65, of Naples, passed away on December 28, 2018 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a short battle with Cancer. She was born October 23, 1953 in Portland, ME to Merle and Olive Coney and was the middle child of three girls. Cecy graduated from Lake Region High School and attended the University of Southern Maine where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Cecilia worked for Sun Life Insurance as well as the Hampton Inn both located in South Portland, ME. Cecy loved to travel and read in her spare time but her most cherished moments in life were those spent with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a very hard worker always wanting to make sure everyone and everything was taken care of. Along with her parents, Cecy is predeceased by two sisters, Janice Coney and Robin Pike. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Coney and her husband, Gregory Blake of Naples, and one son, Vincent Coney, of Naples. Two grandchildren; Travis Coney and Nicholas Coney Blake, and two nieces; Adrienne Martin of Chico, CA and Jessica Deyoung of Montague, MI. Two great-nieces; Kendra Deyoung and Indra Martin. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M Saturday, January 5, 2018 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Road Windham, ME 04062. A private family graveside will take place at a later date in the Spring.
