Cecile L. Bragdon, 92 passed away peacefully on July 12, 2013 at the Venice Hospice House, Venice, FL. She was born in St. Francis on May 6, 1921, a daughter to the late Benjamin and Catherine Morneault.  She graduated from Bangor High School class of 1939 and attained an honorary degree from Husson College.  She married the love of her life, the late Meltiah E. Bragdon of Eastbrook on February 8, 1941.   She is known for her friendly and inviting manner, exuberant joy and overall love for life.  She will always be remembered for her unconditional love.  Her love for the old classical music with Lawrence Welk, and dancing with her husband and friends brought great joy.  She was constantly knitting, crocheting and painting beautiful pictures for her loved ones, and the family's favorite was her signature quilts.  She generously used her gift of hospitality and enjoyed cooking and serving others.   Her friends were always busy with their gatherings and bridge club activities.  She enjoyed much of her solitude time at her camp at Hancock Pond.  She has always been the Prayer Warrior for all of her family members.   She worked at SD Warren Paper Mill and Fairchild Semiconductor while raising her five children.   She rejoins her husband, Meltiah, after 45 years apart and was pre-deceased by her brothers Joseph Morneault of Millinockett, Claude Morneault of Windham, her sisters Jeanne Morneault of Bangor, and Angie Morneault of Bangor.  She leaves her daughter and four sons, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.  Daughter Jean Boldoc of Hiram, family: Catherine Bensaoui of Claremont, FL,  Amal Bensaoui, daughter Kaeya, Tarak Bensaoui, daughter Alayah, Joyce Pinkerton of Hiram, Adam Mesta, son Aiden, Deanna Mesta, Paula Cuddie of Windham, Angela Guzman, Sean Cuddie.  Son David Bragdon and wife Holly of Ocala, FL, family: Cheryl Fournier and husband Scott of Waterboro, Tyler Fourier, Jason Bowden, Jarod Fournier,  Jeffery Bragdon and wife Stephanie of Midlothian, VA, Zachary Bragdon, Rebecca Bragdon,  Erica Hogan and husband Trevor of Ocala, FL, Ethan Hogan, Grady Hogan, Andrew Alfiero of Windham.   Son James Bragdon and wife Sandy of Windham, family: Benjamin Bragdon and wife Jennifer of Windham, Mason Bragdon, Emily Bragdon, Jennifer Darigan and husband Dan of Saco, Madeline Darigan, John Darigan, Mellissa Bragdon of Portland.  Son Peter Bragdon and wife Donna of Mechanic Falls, family: Christopher Bragdon and wife Sarah of Tampa, FL, Zachary Marc Bragdon, Julia Bragdon, Alison Hatch and husband Jeremy of Farmington, Abigail Hatch, Benjamin Hatch, Nicholas Bragdon of Mechanic Falls, Nathan Bragdon.  Son John Bragdon and wife Linda of Englewood, FL, family: Kaitlyn Bragdon of Cheyenne, WY. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook.
