He was born on March 25th 1929 to Mildred and Carroll Crimmin in South Portland where he was raised and attended South Portland schools. His last wish was to celebrate his 83rd birthday which he did, at the Gosnell House surrounded by family, which included his wife, children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, his sisters and many extended family members on Sunday 3/25/2012 at the Gosnell House. He joined the U.S Navy in 1947 and served on the USS Muliphen during the Korean conflict.
