GORHAM—Carrie May Hansen, 18, passed away on December 4, 2017. She was born June 22, 1999, a daughter of Walton Jr. and Pamela (Beaulieu) Hansen. Carrie grew up in the Westbrook and Gorham area and attended school locally. She was a 2017 graduate of the Gorham Adult Ed Program. Owned by Carrie was a keen sense of adventure with a beautiful soul to match. She had recently started getting tattoos and was looking forward to acquiring more. With intelligence aplenty, Carrie enjoyed writing in her journal, listening to music, taking pictures, and being with friends. Her love of nature often brought her to the ocean where she explored for sea glass and shells. One of her favorite places to visit was the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Carrie had an outgoing personality who wanted to please others and was independent, hard-working, determined, strong, loyal, empathic, and comedic. She always persevered. Our beautiful, sweet Care Bear, Green Bean, and Bambino will be forever missed. She is survived by her parents, Walton "Wally" Jr. and Pamela Hansen of Gorham; a brother, Chazz Hansen of Houston, TX; half-sisters Jennifer Merrill of Belgrade, ME, Amanda Simpson of Strong, ME and Stevi Rodney of Murphy, TX; uncles Jerry Hansen of Connecticut, Michael Beaulieu and his wife Laurie of Hartford, ME, and Christopher Beaulieu and his wife Laurie of Houston, TX; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Walton Sr. and Connie Hansen of Falmouth, ME; maternal grandparents Paul and Carolyn Beaulieu of Augusta, ME; and an uncle, Reggie Hansen. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 10am to 11:30am with a service starting at 11:30 at the Windham chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062.
