Carolyn A. Wendt, 79, of Northbrook Dr., Falmouth passed away on Monday, January 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Somerville, MA, the daughter of Alfred and Lillian (Hoeft) Mix and raised in Cambridge, MA.  She and her husband John moved to Maine in the 1980's and enjoyed their 5 acre farm in Buxton for many years, as well as square dancing.  She also found great joy in gardening and raising ducks. In her younger years Carolyn was active in the Lions Club. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2009, and her two brothers Donald and Arthur Mix. Carolyn leaves behind her son Scott Wendt and wife Tina of Portland, daughter Andrea Johengen and husband Neil of Westbrook, and grandchildren Thomas and Nathaniel.
