Carl Bartolomeo passed away peacefully in his home in Raymond, Maine on January 7th. He was the son of the late Argent  Bartolomeo and Rose Calogine Bartolomeo of Fairfield, CT. He attended Andrew Warde High School, class of 1965, where he was active in sports and technical theatre. His class honored him for his creative design of their senior prom. While living in Maine, Carl used his hands and imagination to craft many things - from barns and porches to dulcimers, guitars, and furniture. He also restored antiques for museums using historically correct techniques and materials. He leaves behind a sister, Noreen Bartolomeo Wright, and two brothers, Arthur Bartolomeo and Roy Bartolomeo. He has an adored daughter and son, Eleanor Bartolomeo Fan and Nevins Bartolomeo. Carl was husband to his love of sixteen years, Veronica Danie. He was a good and loving stepfather to her three children, Nathaniel St. Laurent, Caitlin St. Laurent, and Jacob Litman. Carl will be remembered for his sense of humor, his passion for playing and singing folk music, his dependability, playfulness, kindness and common sense. He is sadly missed.
