Brian W. Webb, 70, of East Bridge St., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at his home. He was born in Portland, the son of Dwight and Ardyth (Rand) Webb.  Brian was raised in Gorham, and graduated from Gorham High School.  He later graduated from the Gorham State Teacher's College. In his younger years Brian was a member of the Future Farmers of America.  He spent many summers with his grandparents Edward and Rose Rand in Sherman Mills.   Brian moved to Vermont where he lived for 27 years before returning to Maine.  While in Vermont he was a member of the Model A Ford Club and the Eagles Club.  After his retirement he returned to Maine and worked part time at Hannaford in Westbrook.   He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies, and was a Red Sox fan. Brian is survived by his wife Jane (Huntress) Webb of Westbrook; two sons Jacob and his wife Sarah Webb of Durham, Joshua and his wife Missi Webb of Proctor, VT; sisters and brothers, Dauna Binder of Portland, Michael and his wife Joanne Webb of Bridgton, Deborra and husband Derek Lundberg of Vista, CA, and Randy and his wife Gail Webb of Parkland, FL; three grandchildren Kaitlynn, Cameron, and Riley Ann, as well as several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 PM Sunday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday.   Interment will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in the spring.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com The family would like to extend a special thank you to the members of the Westbrook Rescue Unit for the excellent care they provided.   In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
