Windham, Maine – Blaine Allan Reynolds, 71, of 85 Main Street, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his home. Blaine was born in Westbrook on August 8, 1953 a son of Richard and Vera Reynolds. He was the youngest of 4 boys: Bruce, Brian, Blair and Blaine. He was educated in the Westbrook schools. In 1976 he married Janis A Hebert and they had two wonderful daughters together, Kimberly and Kristina. Janis predeceased him in 1978. Blaine supported himself and his family working at Data General where he met Janice L Poe, whom he married in 1982. They were happily married for 42 years. Blaine was a hardworking family man all of his life. He had a love for candlepin bowling and was a co-owner of Colonial Bowling Lanes in Westbrook. His other hobbies included basketball, golfing, camping and visiting with family every week. He was a member of the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church and enjoyed singing bass in the choir for many years. Blaine was beloved by his family and friends for his storytelling, sense of humor and naturally kind, loving personality. Stories of Blaine will always be remembered, as will his love of Elvis Presley. His friends and family will miss the times spent with "camping" Blaine at Kokatosi and Island Pond, Vermont. His nephews Jarrod and Daniel will forever tell the story of the magic knife. Blaine and Janice always enjoyed their holidays spent with their daughter Kimberly, and three grandchildren: Neesa, Devon and Tyler. He would speak with his daughter, Kristina, weekly on FaceTime and always loved her trips home from Japan to visit him. On any day of the week, you could find him waving hello as a neighbor helping his neighbors, laughing with the clerk at Hannaford about the weather or reading the Portland Press Herald with a cup of coffee. You could also see him wearing a Patriot's, Red Sox, or Celtics shirt; he loved watching the games. Blaine had a sweet tooth and favored homemade cookies, pies, jams and breads. He would always be mistaken for his brother Blair when he was at the Baker's Bench. Survivors include his wife, Janice L Reynolds, his children, Kimberly A Reynolds and Kristina A Reynolds, his grandchildren, Neesa, Devon and Tyler, his brother Blair and his wife Virginia, his nephew Jarrod and his wife Cathy with their daughter Ava-Rene, and his nephew Daniel. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dolby Blais & Segee Funeral Home, located at 434 River Road in Windham. It will be on the day that would have been Blaine's 72nd birthday, Friday, August 8, 2025 at 1:00pm. Burial will be private.
