Beverly Jean Foster was born in Limington, Maine on May 31st, 1937 and passed away on June 13th, 2021. She was a daughter of Ernest Foster and Hazel Merrifield and had six other siblings. She spent her childhood in rural Maine and later raised a family of her own, forging the roots of her family tree deep into the local soil. Her tree grew stronger and more full as the years went on. She is recently predeceased by her dear sister Shirley Babbitt, and her quick-witted son-in-law Paige Libby. She is survived by her children Michael Perkins and his wife Denise, Antony Perkins and his wife Jackie, Lark Pitts, Valarie Libby, and Alyce Lovejoy and her husband William. Her grandchildren Michael, Jared and his wife Mauryn, Jenna, Justin and his wife Abby, Cortney and her husband Brad, James and his wife Melissa, Nicholas and his wife Valerie, Anthony and his wife Amanda, Kris and his fiancee Amanda, and Regina and her husband Brady, Kate and her husband Daryn, will all honor traditions brought to fruition by Beverly, and will continue to share their memories of her with the sixteen great grand-children that Beverly loved so much. She will be remembered for her strength, her endearing presence, her inviting smile, her kind eyes, her laugh, and the love she held in her heart for everyone she knew. Her love will now be felt through the sunshine she loved so much and her warmth will be felt by us all for as long as we let the light in, and see the good, just as she did. Because even after the most torrential rain, the most destructive storm, and the hardest winter... there is light, there is sunshine, and there is a chance and choice to see the "good." Visiting hours will be held at Dolby Blais and Segee Funeral Home in Westbrook on June 26th, 2021 between 2 and 4pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to American Kidney Fund (AFK)
