Westbrook, Plaisted, Beverly J ( Huntley), (88) passed away on November 24, 2015 in Gorham.  She was born to Karl and Blanche (Clark) Huntley on November 3, 1927.  She married Virgil M. Plaisted, Sr. on August 3, 1944.  They were married for 63 years until his passing in 2007.  Together they raised four children.  They lived in Westbrook and spent summers at the camp they built together on Gambo Pond in Gorham.             She first worked at the age of 13 at the Star Laundry in Westbrook and then briefly at S.D. Warren.  After raising her family, she worked for several years at McClellan's 5 and 10 and eventually retired from her job as a quality control inspector at Data General both also in Westbrook.             She loved cooking for her family and entertaining them during the holidays and at family outings at the camp.  She was a former member of the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church and the Women's Auxillary of Post # 197 American Legion.  She and her husband loved to attend dances at the Westbrook Eagles Club and the American Legion, and canoeing on the Prescumpscot River.             She is predeceased by her husband, parents and her four siblings, Charles, Robert, Harold, and Emily.             She is survived by her four children, Ronald and wife Bette of Cornville, Linda and husband John Peters of Windham, Robert and wife Suzanne of Jonesboro and Virgil, Jr. and wife Holly of Gorham.  She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.             The family wishes to thank Hospice of Southern Maine and the very caring staff of the Inn at Village Square for their compassion, support and love.  A very special thank you to her caregiver and special friend Tim.             A visiting hour will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 11 to 12, with a service immediately following at 12 at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook; interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
