Betty Denbow 90, formerly of Portland passed away on May 17, at the Gorham House. She was born in Portland the daughter of Rankin and Estelle Anderson on Feb. 28, 1924. She was a graduate of Deering High School, and she worked for Shaws Northgate for 25 years. The things that were important in her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty had the most beautiful flower gardens in her neighborhood and was a great cook. Betty was predeceased by her husband Maurice and her sister Barbara Beaulieu. She is survived by her sister Joann Deshaies, sons Maurice Jr. and Wife Dawn of Houlton, David and wife Jeanne of Windham, grandchildren Karen, Dave Jr., Brian, and Morgan, great grandchildren Jamal, P.J., Govin, Colby, Damean, and Tristan and Brian Jr. There will be a private burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
