Betty Ann Abbott, 60, of Longfellow St., Westbrook, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Linwood and Marjorie (Lord) Sherman.  She was raised in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High School. Betty Ann worked for many years for Sturbridge Yankee.  She enjoyed doing crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and loved camping. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Clyde (Butch) Sherman. She is survived by her husband Stephen Abbott of Westbrook; her stepsons Jeff Abbott of Standish and James Abbott of Los Angelis, CA; a stepdaughter Melissa Clough of Bethel; her sister Linda Roberge and husband Richard of South Portland; 5 step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
