MANCHESTER, CT - Bennett was born February 16, 1990 in Norwalk CT. In her short life Bennett was given amazing opportunities to live in many places Connecticut, Rhode Island, Naples, Italy, Virginia Beach, and Maine. Throughout her life she gained everlasting friendships wherever she went. Bennett had so many qualities but truly her greatest gift was her love for family and friends. Her infectious smile and her wonderful laugh brought joy to all that met her. Bennett loved life, from snowboarding at Sunday River to heading up to Sebago Lake with a few jam festivals in between. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her mother Julia Sinclair, her father Kenneth " Duke " Saltus; brother Tucker Saltus; sister, Samantha Killmeyer; brothers Jack and Jed Saltus; grandparents Scudder and Susie Sinclair and Barbara Saltus; step-father David Chevraux; many uncles and aunts, also her godfather Charles Sinclair; several cousins and two very much adored nephews and her niece; and her boyfriend Derek Hohmann and his daughter Laney. Also her beloved dog, Hazel Mae. She was preceded in death by her brother Spc. Jake B. Saltus and grandparents Margo Colmore and Donald Saltus, and her uncle Jocko Saltus . A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 76 State Street, Gorham. A gathering will follow at the reception hall of First Parish Church, 1 Church Street, Gorham.
