Avon Wilcox, 64, of Westbrook, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 at his home. He was born in Caribou, the son of William and Lydia Hebert Wilcox.  Avon worked on computers and worked for Blueberry and Mayflower Moving Company.    He was also a boxer. He was predeceased by his companion Alice Wotton, a brother Robert Wilcox and sister Marie Campbell. He is survived by a son Avon Wotton of Portland; a daughter Evelyn Wotton of Westbrook; a brother Allie Wilcox; sisters Patricia McDonald, Dolores Sullivan, Marilyn Larrabee, Anita Gregg, Nancy Kennie, and Sharon Shepard; two grandchildren; a niece Brenda Cobb along with other nieces and nephews. A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM Thursday followed by a service at 11 at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St.,Westbrook.  Interment will follow in Forest City Cemetery, So. Portland.
