SEBAGO—Arne Leroy Johnsen Jr., 57, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on August 17, 2019. He was born July 19, 1962, a son of the late Arne L. Johnsen Sr. and Ellen (Pratt) Hicks. He grew up in Portland and was a graduate of Portland High School graduating in the class of 1981. On September 8, 1984, he married Claudia Upton and together they made their home in Sebago. Throughout the years, he was employed at Fairchild Semiconductor, King Kong Services as a window washer and was currently working at Wal Mart in North Windham for the last few years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to go deer hunting with his family and close friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed creating his scaled models and gaming. He especially loved spending time with his "girls" which included his dogs, Baby and Oreo. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Johnsen; his mother, Ellen Hicks; his siblings, Arlene Bean and her husband, Harold, Barbara Shuman and her husband Peter, Russell Johnsen, and Nancy Johnsen; special nephew, Michael Miller, as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his father, Arne Johnsen Sr., as well as step father James Hicks. A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 10am at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland.
