Anne Marie (Lariviere) Potter, 84, died Friday July 6, 2018, at her home. She was born February 21, 1934, in Westbrook a daughter of Eugene and Alice (Vigeant) Lariviere. Marie grew up in Westbrook and was a 1952 graduate of Westbrook High School. She retired from Westbrook Hardware where she was the company bookkeeper for decades. Her favorite hobbies were reading and trips to the casino. Marie was a lifelong communicate of St. Anthony's Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She will always be remembered as a generous, loyal, women who was devoted to her family and friends. In addition to her parents Marie was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years Frank Potter in 2010 and her son Eugene Gutierrez in 2005. She is survived by her children, Carmelita Babb and her husband David of Biddeford, Edward Gutierrez and his wife Jackie of Portland, and Susan Hall and her husband Gary of Auburn; sister, Virginia Gilliam of Mechanic Falls; grandchildren, Laura, Greg, Ben, Dan, Joe, Adam, Ryan, and Chrissy, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday July 21, at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, Stroudwater Street, Westbrook.
