Anita F. Cloutier (Ricker) - Scarborough, Maine Anita, 87, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024, at Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation with loving family by her side. Anita was born October 19, 1936, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of the late Roland and Yvonne Ricker. She was raised in Scarborough by her late uncle Stanley Ricker and wife Marion where she graduated from Scarborough High School. After Graduation, Anita worked for New England Telephone Company, where she met and married Edward Cloutier in May of 1958. They settled in Westbrook, Maine. Anita left the phone company when she began her family. Her lifelong career and passion were waitressing so she could work around her family needs. She worked as a waitress for many years at Dimillo's in Portland, Maine. Family was Anita's greatest accomplishment. She enjoyed being with family, friends, and hosting large parties. Anita's favorite pastime was being able to sit and spend time with the babies of the family. The babies were always her favorite up to her last days. She liked being outside in the garden as much as possible, especially with her husband Ed. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossstitching, cooking, baking and reading for hours at a time. She was one of the kindest, most caring, selfless, smiling, strongest individuals who walked this planet. Attributes that she has passed on for generations and will forever be cherished by her family. In addition to her parents, Anita is predeceased by her loving husband Edward Cloutier, her son Timothy Cloutier, her daughter Kellie Goddard (Cloutier), Her sister Pauline (Pollie) Tenggren, and her sister Jacqueline Ricker Oliver. She is survived by her brother Ralph (Skip) Ricker and wife Ann, two sons Roland Cloutier and wife Sandy, Matthew Cloutier and wife Melinda, two daughters Barbara Cloutier and Julie Cloutier. Anita is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Graveside service for Anita is scheduled for Monday, August 5th at 10am at Calvary Cemetery on 1461 Broadway, South Portland. A celebration of life ceremony will be held directly after the graveside service at 11:30am at Rustlers Steak House Windham, Maine.
