Obituary

Westbrook – Alice L. St.Pierre, 103, of Portland Center for Assisted Living and formerly of Longfellow Place, Westbrook, passed away Thursday March 29, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice. She was born Sept.23, 1908, the daughter of Alfred Sr. and Fedelise Rousseau   St. Pierre. In her lifetime, she worked at Dana Warp Mill and later went on to open her own business called Alice's Millinerie Shop in downtown Westbrook. She designed many stylish outfits and accessories for ladies in the community. She also worked at Parkers Dress Shop. Alice was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Parish, a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, the Westbrook Senior Citizens and was involved in many other activities. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Fedelise St. Pierre, brother's Alfred Jr., Arthur and Robert. She leaves one sister Rebecca Moreau of Napa, CA., several nephews and a niece. Her wishes were to have no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Parish. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery. Arrangements are by Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to; St. Anthony Parish 268 Brown St. Westbrook, ME. 04092.
