They created a home where all friends and family were welcomed, always with a refrigerator full of ice cream and a clean swimming pool for the kids. Alen was active in coaching youth sports and loved his days playing softball with his girls.
Outside of work he was known for his knack to fix or build anything, his love of candlepin bowling, golf, cribbage, bowhunting, travel, and spending time with family and friends. He worked tirelessly to care for others, including his wife, Debbie during her breast cancer battle and his brother-in-law, Jake, who lived with a spinal cord injury. He was always willing to lend a hand and share his talents in carpentry, electrical work, and project “supervision.”
