Obituary

Albert Glazier, 60, of Windham, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday at Maine Medical Center. Al was born in Portland, the son of Charles Glazier and Thelma Ramsey.  He was a graduate of Portland High School.  Al worked for Creative Office Pavilion in Portland for many years. He was an avid Giants and Yankees fan.  He loved his family and his extended family, his work, golf, sports, as well lottery tickets and his Diet Pepsi (that he said could cure anything).  Al was a member of Gorham Country Club, he always tried to out-play his good friend Dennis Walsh every weekend.  If you knew Al you could walk into a room and pick up where you left off, even after years gone by.  One of his favorite childhood memories was spending the summers on Sturdivant Island with his grandfather and extended family. He also enjoyed spending summers traveling to New Jersey and the Carolina's with his mother and sister. He is survived by his soul mate Joanne Patten; daughter Amanda Glazier "Pal"; step-daughter Pamela Pahel and husband Kris; brothers John Hanlon and wife Mary, and Wayne Hanlon; sisters Debbie and husband Alan Kunesh, Margo Huff and husband Don, and Sandra Karastanos; grandchildren Jayden, Cole, and Willow; mother-in-law Irene Pellerin; brother-in-laws Steven and Cindy Pellerin, Timothy Pellerin; sister-in-law James and Diane Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews that he loved. Visiting hours will be from 1 to 4 PM Sunday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Team Kyle, 41 Woodfield Drive, Scarborough, ME 04074.
