Albert Arthur Arsenault, 80, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Springbrook Nursing Home. He was born and raised in Westbrook, the son of Theodore and Jeannette (Mondor) Arsenault. Albert worked at St. Hyacinth Church and St. Hyacinth Cemetery for many years. He later went to work for the City of Westbrook at Woodlawn Cemetery for 10 years and then worked at St. Anne's Church in Gorham for a few years. He was a true handyman. He built his own house and camp, including all the plumbing and electrical work, and was very good at fixing engines. Albert enjoyed spending time at his camp and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice (Sidebottom) Arsenault; his sons Arthur and wife Kathyn of Escondido, CA, Peter and wife Penny of Gorham, and Joseph of Steep Falls; his daughters Catherine Gilbert of Windham, Mary Warming and husband Greg of Windham; and fourteen grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, January 30th, at St. Anthony's Church in Westbrook. Interment will be at a later date in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
