Susan Ann Meserve

Susan Ann (Braley) Meserve, 67, of South Portland, passed away in Portland on January 20, 2022. She was born in Westbrook on September 20, 1954, daughter of Dale Braley and the late Elsie (Tapley) Braley. After going to nursing school, Susan worked as a CNA in a nursing home for many years and thoroughly enjoyed taking care of people. She was in the girl scouts as a young girl and enjoyed spending time at the family’s camp on Little Sebago Lake. She used to make her children’s clothes and enjoyed many crafts such as crocheting, sewing, cross stitch, painting, word puzzles, and many others. She loved to travel, she would take her children and later grandchildren on camping trips and to Christian retreats, as well as to the family camp at the lake. She also loved to sing in the church choir as she was a member of several different churches over the years in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. Susan is survived by her sister Lisa Parkman, her 2 children, 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Elsie (Tapley) Parkman 2013, her uncle Roland Tapley Jr. 2014, and Grandparents Bertha & Roland Tapley Sr. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 3PM at Dolby, Blais, and Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062.
