Judith Lee Murphy

July 13, 1943 - March 10, 2022

WINDHAM – Judith Lee Murphy, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Lee (Perry) Murphy on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Maine Medical Center. Judy was an avid reader and a gifted cook, delighting her family and friends with her many culinary delights. Judy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and provided many years of service to the ward. Judy especially loved working with children. Judy was extremely devoted to her family and her love and concern for everyone was very evident. She was a nurturer and really loved taking care of her family. Judy spent most of her married life as a homemaker, but did for a time, work as a cook in a local nursing home. Her last job prior to retirement was working as a home care aid for the elderly. Judy was predeceased by her son, Lloyd Murphy, II in 2019. Judy is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of over 60 years, Lloyd Murphy. She is also survived by her sons, Steven Murphy and his wife, Ruth of Windham and Jeffery Murphy and his wife, Julie of Harrison; she was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held, 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 755 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062.
