Emma Luise Shute
October 22, 1927 - April 12, 2022
Emma Luise Shute born on October 22,1927 in MaBbach, Germany the daughter of Friedrich Zeigler and Pauline Kienzle. Emma died peacefully after life long complications with Celiac Disease. She was at home surrounded by the love and admiration of her family. Emma survived World War II in Germany where she met her husband Arthur Shute. They married in Germany and then she immigrated on the Queen Mary to Kennebunkport, Maine. The trip was a fond memory. She became a proud USA Naturalization citizen in 1957. In 1960, her family moved to Sebago, Maine. She devoted her life to the building of a dam, a hydroelectric station, a two story machine shop and the home in which she lived independently the rest of her life. Her pride was her immensely beautiful flower gardens she grew throughout her time. When you see her flowers bloom, know she has her wings in heaven. She was an adventurous grandmother to seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She dedicated her retirement to the well being of her loved grandchildren and then great grandchildren. She is survived by her four children; Eric Shute, of Arundel, Maine, Michael Shute, of Windham, Maine, Heidi Montagne, of Limington, Maine and Jonathan Shute, of Fairfield, Illinois and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We all have loving memories.
