STANDISH – Roxanne "Rocky" Marie White, 56, of Whites Bridge Road died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a two-year fight with cancer. Rocky was born in Portland on December 6, 1961, a daughter of Gerard Labbe and Marlene Erskin MacDonald. She grew up in the Portland and Westbrook area and worked at local mills during the early 1980's. Rocky spent a few years working with her husband at their own business until she began working at the North Windham Wal-Mart and remained there for the last 13 years. Rocky met her husband, Jim in 1986 and began a life of adventure, excitement and love as they raised their family of three children and seven grandchildren. Roxanne had a very outgoing personality. She loved most everything from girl's day out with friends to gardening, hiking, camping, boating on Sebago, snowmobiling and fishing in the winter. On weekends in the spring and summer you would find her at a local mud racing track driving her truck called "Crazy Horse". Her most heart felt time was spent with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Gerard Labbe and her brother, Steven Labbe. Surviving are her husband, Jim White; her daughter Amanda Cousins; stepsons, James and Mathew White; mother, Marlene MacDonald; sister, Denise Coito; brothers, Scott Labbe and Dennis Labbe; grandchildren, Chris, Logan, Shania, Tyler, Sophia, Chance, and Isabella. The family wishes to thank everyone at the New England Cancer Specialist and Hospice of Southern Maine. A very special thank you to all of Rocky's wonderful friends at her home-away-from-home – Wal Mart of North Windham. Visiting hours will be held from 3:00pm-6:00pm on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road. A brief service will follow at 6:00 PM.
